Mech Pilot

A Mech Pilot from the early 22nd Century.
Member of the "Atomwolf" elite mech squad in the Eurasian Wars (2103-2111 A.D.).
Modeled in Maya. Textures created in Photoshop.
I've used Maya's software renderer combined with an ambient occlusion pass from mental ray.
The Mech is still work in progress. I will do a composition with the pilot as soon as it's finished.
A character built for testing reactor physics with 3ds max.
Chains, chainmail and cloth are all simulated with 3ds max reactor.
The resulting animations will soon be available on my webpage.
Ended up as a statue in a virtual environment. Everything modeled in max.
A character made for the CG-Talk LOTR challenge back in 2003.
Didn't win a thing, but had lots of fun and got to know nice people

back- and foreground of the image is a compositing made with Images found on google. It doesn't look very good, but it was my first work of that kind and I still like it. Hope you like it too.
